Membership Eligibility

Not a Member – Joining is Easy!

We can qualify you for membership in any of the following ways.  If you live or work within the boundaries of Boulder, Broomfield, Jefferson, Larimer, Weld, Adams, Denver, Arapahoe, or Douglas County.  Students, faculty, or staff of the Boulder Valley School District or Westminster Public Schools.  Employees or family members of employees of IBM, Ball Corporation, Boulder Community Health, Lexmark, or Medtronic.  Premier Members Credit Union partners with over 750 companies and organizations within the communities we serve.  Affiliation with one of our partners will qualify for membership.  If you are related to someone who has an account with PMCU, then you also qualify.  If you do not meet any of the criteria above, you may choose to join through our affiliation with Impact on Education the primary charity for the Boulder Valley School District.  Doing so is simple, and no additional action is needed on your part.

Know that if you should ever change jobs or move, you retain full membership benefits. Once a member, always a member at Premier Members Credit Union!


Important information about procedures for opening a new account:
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.

What this means to you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We will also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents. In some cases, identification will be requested from existing members because appropriate documentation was not obtained at the time an account was originally opened.
