Be Ready with your Premier Members Tax Documents
Your 2023 Premier Members tax documents will be available online by January 31. If you don’t have online access, documents will be mailed no later than January 31.
You can access your tax documents easily online if you’re enrolled in eStatements – just log in to Online Banking, navigate to Accounts and Services followed by Statements and Notifications
To enroll in eStatements, login to Online Banking, navigate to Accounts and Services followed by Statements and Notifications. Or check the eStatements box and accept disclosures when first logging in.
As an additional level of security, only the last 4 digits of SSNs will be on the forms.

Form Name: 1099-INT Dividends earned on accounts and U.S. Savings Bonds
Date Available: Postmarked no later than Jan. 31
Access: Members will receive one tax form with total dividends from all Premier Members Credit Union accounts under the same Tax ID Number, except tax deferred accounts such as IRAs, ESAs or HSAs. Joint account holder names will not appear on tax forms and only one account number will appear on the tax form.
You will only receive a 1099-INT form if the total dividends is $10.00 or more. If a member has multiple deposit accounts that earned dividends, the 1099-INT form will report the total sum of those accounts. Members can find the earnings per each individual account on their December 31, 2022 statement(s) or in online banking.
Members can view their 1099-INT form via online banking, if registered, under the smallest account number.
Form Name: 1042-S Dividends earned on accounts for Non-Resident Aliens
Date Available: Postmarked no later than Jan. 31
Access: For each dividend earning share, members will receive a separate tax form, except tax deferred accounts such as IRAs, ESAs or HSAs.
Members can view their 1099-INT form via online banking but will only be able to see the 1042-S form for the account registered.
Form Name: 1098 Interest paid on Mortgages
Date Available: Postmarked no later than Jan. 31
Access: Members can view their 1098 form via online banking.
Form Name: 1098 Interest paid on Home Equity Lines of Credit (HELOC), Home Equity Loans and Consumer Construction Loans
Date Available: Postmarked no later than Jan. 31
Access: Members can view their 1098 form via online banking.
Form Name: 1099-MISC Other income earned on accounts
Date Available: Postmarked no later than Jan 31.
Access: Members will receive a 1099-MISC tax form if they received a promotional or sweepstakes payout greater than or equal to $600.00. Members can view their 1099-MISC form via online banking, if registered.
Distributions made from IRAs and HSAs
Form Name:
- 1099-R for Traditional and Roth Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs)
- 1099-Q for Coverdell Education Savings Accounts (ESAs)
- 1099-SA for Health Savings Accounts (HSA)
Date Available: Postmarked no later than Jan. 31
Access: Members will receive their form by mail to the address on file for the tax-deferred account since these forms are not available online.
Contributions made to IRAs and HSAs
Form Name:
- 5498 for Traditional and Roth Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs)
- 5498-ESA for Coverdell Education Savings Accounts (ESAs)
- 5498-SA for Health Savings Accounts (HSA)
Date Available: Postmarked no later than May 31.
Access: Members will receive their form by mail to the address on file for the tax-deferred account since these forms are not available online.
